Due to strict road closures and bearing in mind that HGV will be manoeuvring we would advise that you do not park in the Western Esplanade area of Herne Bay
Possible parking places include :-

The car park on Central Parade

The car park on Queen Street off William Street
Parking in Herne Bay town centre is the best option, as this will give you easier access to routes away from the carnival if you wish to leave early. Keep to the other side of the beach front as all roads will be closed and one other point, after the carnival the sea front will be closed for a fireworks display.
The Carnival starts on Western Esplanade and runs along the sea front (Central Parade) before passing through the High Street to finish in The Broadway.
